Leeds trains cancelled and delayed after person hit by a train

There is disruption to trains between Leeds and London this morning after a person was hit by a train.

LNER reported the incident at 9.40am, which happened between Peterborough and Stevenage.

All services from Leeds to London are likely to be cancelled or delayed as emergency services attend the scene.

The 9.45am and 11.45am departures from Leeds to London Kings Cross have been cancelled.

The 10.03am and 10.33am departures from London Kings Cross to Leeds have been cancelled.

Delays are expected until at least 2pm.
