Leeds man dead after car hit wall in Bradford

A LEEDS man died and a Bradford man was seriously injured after the car they were travelling in crashed into a wall.

The 29-year-old Leeds manwas driving a silver coloured MG which collided with a wall on Bradford Road near its junction with Wyke Lane at Oakenshaw, Bradford, in the early hours last Thursday. (July 13)

Police said the MG was being driven towards Chain Bar when the collision happened.

The driver, a 29-year-old man from Leeds was taken to hospital but died later.

The passenger, a 29-year-old man from Bradford was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He remains in a serious condition.

Officers from the Major Collision Enquiry Team are continuing to appeal to anyone who saw the vehicle travelling in the area before the incident, or who witnessed the collision itself to come forward. Information can be passed to MCET via 101 quoting 13170319659.
