Huge delays on M62 due to three lane closure following crash

There are huge delays on the M62 this morning, Highways Yorkshire said.

Following a crash, three lanes have been closed on the M62 Eastbound at J25 Brighouse to J26 Chain Bar.

Traffic is building in the area.

Delays of at least 30 minutes have been reported by motorists.

Traffic and roads policing unit officers are en route to the crash.

Motorists have been warned to avoid the area.

Highways Yorkshire tweeted: "#M62 east J25 #Brighouse to J26 #ChainBar please be aware following a road traffic collision we currently have 3 lanes closed. #TrafficOfficers and

@WYP_RPU are en route.

"There is some congestion in the area."
