Greggs is returning to Leeds Bradford Airport this summer

The popular bakery chain left LBA in April 2009.

LBA posted on their Facebook page: "Things weren't quite the same without the northern staple here at Leeds Bradford Airport, so we are delighted to welcome Greggs (and their sausage rolls) back for summer 2020.

"All being well, we will have the new store up and running by next month - you'll find it before security and next door to arrivals."

The bakery will be open from 4am until midnight, subject to flight schedules.

An LBA spokesman said: "A Greggs will land at Leeds Bradford Airport for Summer 2020, offering the perfect choice for great food on the go.

"Home to famous sausage rolls, sweet treats and Fairtrade premium coffee, Greggs is a welcome addition to LBA’s food and drink offering."
