Eight-year-old boy seriously injured in Leeds crash

A boy of eight and a 52-year-old man were seriously injured in a crash in east Leeds.

They were taken to Leeds General Infirmary after the collision between a Fiat Seicento and a Renault Clio on Church Lane, Micklefield, at 5.25pm on Wednesday.

Police said they remain in a serious but not life-threatening condition.

Five other people were left with minor injuries.
