Cyclist seriously injured after crash with van driver at Roundhay Road

A cyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash at Roundhay Road.

Police were called to the junction of Copgrove Road and Roundhay Road shortly after 10am this morning (Saturday).

The crash involved a van driver and the male cyclist.

The cyclist was taken to hospital for a serious but not life-threatening injury.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman added: "Officers directed traffic while the incident was managed."
