Mrs Kaur, 35, from the East Bowling area of Bradford, disappeared on October 23 in Roberts Park in Saltaire after failing to pick her daughter up from nursery.

There were immediate concerns for her welfare because she had been suffering from depression.

Despite a number of unconfirmed sightings and an underwater search, she was not found.

Detective Chief Inspector Scott Wood, of the West Yorkshire Police homicide and major enquiry team, said formal identification would take place shortly.

He said the death was not being treated as suspicious.
