Buses delayed for up to ONE HOUR and stuck in snow due to crashes and obstructions across Leeds

Buses have been delayed by up to one hour in Leeds due to the snow.

First West Yorkshire posted a tweet which said: "Delays of up to 60 minutes on services across Leeds and Bradford.

"Heavy traffic and vehicles blocking roads causing significant disruption to services.

"We are so sorry for the disruption - please allow extra time for travel this morning."

In Pudsey, one bus became stuck earlier this morning - causing a huge backlog.

Some buses were also kept at Pudsey Bus Station while the traffic cleared.

Traffic obstructions are causing many bus drivers to wait until the vehicle is moved.

Stationary traffic has been reported across Leeds.

Due to a road traffic accident at Scarcroft, Wetherby Road, buses are not able to pass at present

Buses terminating prior to Scarcroft and using the Shadwell terminus to turn around.

Services 3 and 13 are not using Brackenwood Drive due to vehicles stuck in the snow

Services are diverting along Lidgett Lane and not using Brackenwood Drive until further notice
