Traffic disruption after car flips on roof in west Leeds

An overturned car caused early morning congestion in west Leeds today.

Police were called to the scene of the accident on the Swinnow Lane slip road off the Leeds-bound carriageway of Stanningley Bypass at 7am today. (July 17)

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: “The injured party was up and out of the car when police arrived.”

The 20year-old driver from Pudsey was taken to Leeds General Infirmary although his injuries are not believed to be serious.
