Traffic delays in Leeds after man climbs on roof

Police were called to a street in Leeds after reports that a man was atop a roof.

Officers were called to Meanwood Road, Meanwood, at 11.25am today (Saturday).
A West Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said a man was on the roof of a property.

He was had gotten down from the roof by 2.20pm, the spokeswoman confirmed.

Motorists were urged to avoid the area and traffic was being disrupted.

The 51 and 52 First bus service was delayed, according to Metro.
