Traffic building as two ambulances rushed to crash blocking major Leeds roundabout

There is traffic building in Leeds city centre after a crash blocked a major roundabout during rush hour.

It happened at about 6.40am on Spence Lane, on the roundabout by Holbeck Lane and the A58 Domestic Street.

A silver Vauxhall Corsa and a silver VW Fox collided and two ambulances and police were called to the crash.

One person was checked over by paramedics but their injuries do not appear to be serious.

Traffic is building in Leeds city centre after a crash blocked a busy roundabout

The crash blocked the roundabout until about 8am when the vehicles were recovered and debris cleared by traffic officers.

The AA has reported heavy traffic building back to the A643 due to the crash.

Two ambulances were called to the scene and one person was checked over by paramedics
