The app is currently showing that no buses are available at some stops in Leeds.

However, First Bus has confirmed that a Saturday service is running on all buses until 6pm, with a gradual reduction of services until they stop at 8pm.

First Bus West Yorkshire tweeted: "We are aware that our app is currently showing incorrect times and our app team is working to fix this.

One commuter, Alison T, tweeted First Bus in frustration as she was unsure how she would get into work.

She said: "Well that is good @FirstWestYorks nobody online until 9am, yet those who have to still work have no idea what is happening with buses.

"No 16 or 72 buses tracking on the app yet other services are. Can I get to work or not?!"

Other commuters reported paying for taxis believing that no services were running, only to spot their bus en route.

First Bus has advised customers in Leeds and Bradford that bus timetables can be viewed on its website.
