Town centre road cordoned off after man is injured

A town centre street was cordoned off in Morley this morning after a man injured himself.

The emergency services were called out, including an ambulance and police, in the early hours to Queen Street, next to the town hall, following reports that a person had been seriously hurt.

However, there were found to be no suspicious circumstances and the man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The police tape was taken down a short time later.
