THE Only Way Is Essex star Joey Essex went back to the jungle when he officially opened a new adventure golf course at the Xscape leisure complex in Castleford.

Joey, who starred in last year’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, was greeted by hundreds of adoring fans before he cut the ribbon to open the Volcano Falls course yesterday. (Thursday January 30)

The 18-hole mini golf features a waterfall, a volcano and a T-rex dinosaur.

James Miller, from Volcano Falls, said: “We wanted to open in Xscape Yorkshire because their visitors range from four to 70-year-old and that’s exactly what it offers – entertainment for any age group.”

Xscape marketing manager Dan Wharton, said “it is a great accolade to Xscape and Yorkshire to have such a superb new attraction as part of the Xscape experience. It puts us at full capacity and we’re

delighted to have them on board.”

Date: 13th February 2018.
