TOUR DE FORCE: Lawyers get on their bikes

LEGAL Eagles are swapping the courtroom for the bike track, cycling 150km to raise £30,000 for three children’s hospices.

Barristers, clerks and staff at Exchange Chambers in Leeds will join colleagues from Liverpool and Manchester cycling between the three cities in June to raise money for Martin House Children’s Hospice in Wetherby, Claire House in Liverpool and Francis House in Manchester.

Barrister Stephen Connolly, at Exchange Chambers said: “This year’s Tour De France starts in Leeds this year so we’re getting in to the spirit of things .”
