An inspiring photograph of a youngster from Leeds who has a learning disability won a top prize in a national competition.

Sarah-Jayne Windridge-France’s picture of her 12-year-old son Archie was the winning image in the Ambition category of the Embracing Progress competition.

The picture contest, organised by law firm Irwin Mitchell and charity Walking With The Wounded, asked people to submit inspirational photos that showed personal achievement.

Mrs Windridge-France’s picture showed Archie, who suffers from global development delay, completing the Leeds Abbey Dash while raising money for charity.
