Timeline of terror: The homes and businesses raided by armed Leeds gang

The four armed robbers jailed at Leeds Crown Court today targeted family homes, sports clubs and pubs in affluent parts of Leeds.

They invaded properties in suburbs such as Alwoodley, West Park, Collingham and Horsforth, ram-raided the pro shop at Temple Newsam Golf Club and locked staff at a rugby club in a cellar.

The group threatened victims with a handgun and baseball bats at popular Chapel Allerton pub the Mustard Pot, and wielded a claw hammer at the Tesco petrol station in Seacroft.

The shocking crime spree took place over four months in the autumn and winter of 2015-16, with the first offence reported on November 1, and ended with a raid on a home in West Park on Valentine's Day last year.

Details of the horrific robberies have been released which reveal families were left in terror after being confronted by the men. One mother had a knife held to her throat while her husband was told he would be shot in the head during the Collingham break-in.

November 1, 2015: Robbery at Tesco petrol station, Seacroft.

Store assistant threatened by a masked man with a claw hammer and forced to hand over bundle of cash.

December 29, 2015: Robbery at the Mustard Pot pub, Chapel Allerton.

Staff threatened by men carrying handgun and baseball bats. Gang escaped with £10,000 in cash from a safe.

January 14, 2016: Burglary at large detached house on Wood Lane, Horsforth.

Around £30,000 of damage was caused as the gang ransacked the property in search of valuables.

January 21, 2016: Robbery at a family home in Collingham.

Dad had a gun held to his head and was told he would have his 'head blown off'. Mother had a knife held to her throat while their two children hid in a bedroom.

Gang members stole watches, jewellery, sentimental items and passports belonging to the parents and children before driving away in their car.

February 6, 2016: Robbery at Old Leodensians rugby club, Alwoodley.

Two staff members threatened with a handgun and ordered to hand over £4,000 from a safe as well as their own cash. Victims were locked in a cellar for two hours after the raid.

Home owner threatened with a hammer before jewellery including a £7,000 Rolex watch was taken. Gang then drove off in the victim's Mercedes.

February 11, 2016: Ram raid burglary at Temple Newsam Golf Club.

Vehicle was used to smash a hole into the side of the pro shop before £1,500 of clothing was taken.

February 13, 2016: Robbery at a house in Alwoodley.

Two women threatened and told they would be killed unless they told the gang where the safe was. Victims barricaded themselves into a bedroom as gang stole property including Mulberry bags and £1,700 in cash

February 14, 2016: Robbery at a house in West Park.

Window was smashed with a hammer as woman was at home watching TV. £15,000 in cash and jewellery was taken from a safe as victim "trembled with fear."
