Tick Tock: Countdown to new Leeds game

It already has an array of shops, cafes, boutiques, bars and restaurants - but something totally different is about to land at Trinity Leeds.

‘Tick Tock Unlock’ is already said to be the most popular escape game in Leeds and it is launching a new experience that will be the first of its kind in the UK.

The top secret concept will open at the Trinity in April and the finer details are being kept under wraps for now.

However, director and founder of Tick Tock Unlock, Samrien Hussain said: “We’re keeping tight-lipped about our latest adventure for Leeds but you can be assured Leeds has never seen anything like this before and we can’t wait to share it with everyone.”

The new venue will be Tick Tock Unlock’s third site in Leeds and the sixth in total.

Husband and wife team Ali Khan and Samrien Hussain launched the business - real life, interactive escape games designed for groups of up to six people - in 2014 and it has expanded with sites now open in Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow.

At the time of being launched it was the first adventure game company of its kind in the north of England.

With almost 1,000 reviews on TripAdvisor, Tick Tock Unlock is at the number one spot for ‘fun activities and games’ in Leeds.

Dan Wharton, Marketing Manager at Trinity Leeds, said: “We’re so excited for Tick Tock Unlock to join the incredible line-up here, providing an unmissable experience for visitors.

“We’re sure people will travel from far and wide to come to Trinity Leeds and try out this thrilling new concept.”

There are two venues in Leeds, with one at Kings House on King Street as well as an Alice in Wonderland concept and the brand now employs 30 people.
