Leeds school pupils donned their caps and gowns for a special graduation celebration.

More than 40 children from Gledhow Primary took centre stage at Leeds Trinity University to mark the completion of a mentoring programme from Mosaic, an initiative founded by HRH The Prince of Wales and part of Business in the Community.

Mentors are assigned to work with schools pupils to help the youngsters boost their confidence and self-belief. The programme also empowers mothers, helping them to support their child in reaching their full potential.

Approximately 60 schools participate in the programme nationwide.
