Three arrested and drugs seized after police chased stolen car in Bradford

Police spotted the stolen red Renault Megane heading towards the Greengates area of Bradford just after 1.30am today. (Thurs Feb 22)

The vehicle stopped outside an address in Rowanwood Gardens after a short pursuit.

Its occupants, a 29-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl were arrested on suspicion of burglary after the vehicle had been reported stolen in a burglary in Clayton last month.

The arrested man's home address was searched and police found a large quantity of amphetamine and some cannabis plants.

He was further arrested for possession with intent to supply Class B drugs as was a woman who lives at the address.

All three remain in custody and enquiries are continuing.
