Roadworks on a major route into Leeds city centre are set to cause continued misery for commuters this week.

Your Yorkshire Evening Post reported how resurfacing work on Whitehall Road at the junction with Northern Street has been causing major disruption for motorists.

Temporary traffic lights have been set up on the route and will be in place until January 19.

More disruption is expected when roadworks move further up the road on February 13, until February 15.

Once completed the works will provide new a footway, cycleway & carriageway.
