A third man has been charged with the kidnap and murder of a man found dead in woodland in Leeds.

Anthony Micah Pyke, 31, is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday over the death of father-of-one Colin Pierre, from Gipton.

The body of 31-year-old Mr Pierre, known to friends as ‘Craig’, was discovered in a stream in Gledhow Valley Woods, Chapel Allerton, on the morning of March 11 by teenagers who were on their way to Roundhay School.

He is believed to have bled to death from a gunshot wound following an incident thought to have taken place at about 2am that day.

Pyke, of no fixed address, but who has links to the Meanwood area of Leeds, was arrested in Bolton on Sunday.

He is charged with Mr Pierre’s kidnap and murder, along with the kidnap of a second man in the same incident.

Four other people were arrested on Sunday on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Trevor Isles, 48, of Highfield Green, Pudsey, and Ian Dennis Wilson, 36, of the same address, have both already been charged with Mr Pierre’s kidnap and murder and the kidnap of another man. They are awaiting trial.
