Sister Act is at Leeds Grand Theatre until Saturday, August 27, and it is one of the biggest shows in Broadway and West End history.

Carnival King and Queen show will take over Leeds, and down at West Yorkshire Playhouse on Friday August 26, will show off the best costumes from all across the UK.

For a good family event, The Tetley have two art workshops to take advantage of, the first Saturday afternoon, and the second Monday afternoon.

The Leeds West Indian Carnival parade will take place on Monday, August 29, and is one of the highlight of the city’s cultural calendar, seeing a huge parade passing through Chapeltown and ending in Potternewton Park for a day of live music, dancing, entertainment, food, drink and beautiful costumes.
