Teenager taken to hospital after being hit by a car in West Yorkshire

A teenage boy suffered head and chest injuries when he was hit by a car in West Yorkshire.

The 15-year-old was struck by the blue VW Golf on the A650 in Drighlington at about 6.20pm yesterday. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

The Golf’s driver stopped at the scene – close to the Birstall roundabout – and was spoken to by police.

Witnesses to the incident are asked to contact PC 1593 Morris on West Yorkshire Police’s 101 number, quoting log reference 1369 of November 25.
