Team of angels set to help Leeds Festival fans

Dozens of volunteers are set to make sure revellers at Leeds Festival stay safe during the Bank Holiday weekend.

A team of 90 Festival Angels will be on hand to patrol the site offering sun tan lotion, water and advice to thousands of music fans at Bramham Park.

The Lost Property tent last year reunited 573 items of property with its owners including a wallet containing £520 in cash and even a teddy bear.

Festival Angels co-ordinator, Rev Andy Nicholson, said: “Each year our team is getting bigger.”
