Police say they are becoming increasingly concerned about the welfare of missing woman who they believe may be in Leeds.

Tashi Thornley, 24, has not been seen since she left her home in Formby, Merseyside, on Saturday

She was last seen by her brother at about 4.30pm that day at her home address.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: “Since being reported missing officers have been actively seeking Tashi. House-to-house inquiries have been carried out and detectives are viewing CCTV to establish her whereabouts.

“Tashi is also known frequent Liverpool and other areas of Sefton and regularly visits Leeds to see friends.”

Miss Thornley is white, about 5ft 6ins tall and slim, with blue eyes, short hair which is dyed blue, and she speaks with a Liverpool accent.

She is thought to have been wearing a grey hooded top, blue tracksuit bottoms and a maroon coloured hat and was carrying a grey rucksack.
