Chocolate fans are in for a sweet surprise as Lindt prepares to launch a new chocolate shop in Leeds city centre.

The new store at Trinity Leeds will offer one of the biggest Lindt ranges in the UK, as well as a pick ‘n’ mix truffle section for shoppers to choose their favourite flavours.

Dan Wharton, marketing manager at Trinity Leeds, said: “Lindt is a world renowned chocolatier loved by adults and children alike, so we’re extremely excited to welcome them.

“The store will be Lindt’s second ever boutique in the UK, taking residence opposite the Apple Store.

“Our food and drink offering is ever-developing and we’re certain Lindt will offer visitors to the centre amazing experiences – particularly come the festive season.”

The new store will open its doors at 9am on Friday, August 26, when shoppers will be treated to free samples.

The first 100 customers will also receive a free box of chocolates.

If there are chocoholics out there who can’t make the launch event next week, don’t panic. The store will host more chocolate sampling and a face painting event on Saturday, August 27.
