SUPERSTAR rapper Snoop Dogg will step on stage at the O2 Academy in Leeds tonight, returning to the city just a few weeks after his last visit.
The 43-year-old, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Junior, performed at the Control club in Kirkstall in October, when a fan snapped him arriving at Leeds Bradford Airport with his entourage.
The ‘Drop it Like It’s Hot’ rapper first rose to fame after working with Dr Dre on the Chronic album, released in 1992.
His debut album Doggystyle sold 30million records around the globe.
Snoop has also starred on the silver screen, with roles including Huggy Bear in the Starsky and Hutch remake and a cameo role in the Oscar-nominated Training Day.
Snoop will be at the O2 Academy in Leeds tonight, where he will be performing hits such as ‘What’s My Name’ and ‘Gin and Juice’.
Doors open at 7pm.
