The Sunday Joint partners with music college
The Sunday Joint live music night, which runs weekly at the Hifi Club, has joined forces with the college to offer pub-goers free entertainment.
Every Sunday, upcoming bands from the college will perform alongside a variety of headliners.

Hide AdThe first event on September 17 will see Hyde Park Brass top the bill, with support from the college’s Nag Champa seven piece band.
Nag Champa is a jazz-focussed group featuring vocalist Maya Kally, Jasper Cole on saxophone, pianist and organ player Jasper Green, Joe Scott, guitarist and vocalist Toby Clarke, bass guitarist Kieran Halpin and drummer Chris McIntyre.
Hyde Park Brass formed for a university function in summer 2015 and has gone from strength to strength ever since. They have since performed at Deer Shed Festival in North Yorkshire and Kendal Calling 2017, as well as more locally at Leeds University Union, Sela Bar and HiFi.
Future gigs at The Sunday Joint include Portmanteau with support from Ed Allen on September 24, Dr Syntax and Pete Cannon supported by Duhahli on October 1, Paper Tiger with support from Heretic on October 8.

Hide AdTarzan Bros’ EP launch night on October 15 will be supported by the college’s Mamilah.
Entry to the Sunday Joint is free and doors open at 10pm. The first band will be onstage shortly after opening with music from the club’s resident DJs before and after until 3am.
Hifi is on Central Road in the city centre.
