Strictly Come Dancing: Henson gears up for semi final

Rugby ace Gavin Henson is gearing up for his semi-final clash - by plotting his team tactics.

In grand sporting tradition, he and Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Virshilas have been working out their strategy on a flip-chart like

many a crucial crunch match.

The pair held their team talk to prepare for the "swing-a-thon" in this weekend's semi-final shows, which begin tonight.

Henson set to work with a large pad and a marker pen to draw up a plan of action to dominate the dancefloor.

The couple will be dancing the samba, the Viennese waltz and the swing.

He said: "It's been tough but we've got the hang of them now. This weekend is going to be insane, but I'm looking forward to it.

"I suppose I'm underdog for the semi-final but I'd love to lose that tag this weekend, hopefully I can change people's idea of me this weekend."

The swingathon will see all the contestants on the dancefloor simultaneously as judges look for the finest performers.
