Storm Fionn brings hazardous driving conditions and road closures across Yorkshire

Here are the latest road closures across Yorkshire:

M1: Slow traffic due to earlier accident on M1 Northbound between J34 A6109 Meadowhall Road and J35 A629. Lane one (of four) was closed until around 07:55. All lanes have been re-opened.

M62: Hazardous driving conditions due to snow on M62 Both ways at J22 A672. Snow has gathered in lane three..

A640: Road closed due to snow on A640 New Hey Road Both ways between A672 Ripponden Road and B6114 Saddleworth Road. Affecting traffic between Oldham and Huddersfield. Woodhead Pass and the A635 between Holmfirth and Greenfield is also closed.

A6102: Very slow traffic due to snow on A6102 Norton Avenue Both ways at B6054 White Lane. Affecting Supertram services to Gleadless.

A635: Road closed due to snow on A635 Manchester Road Both ways between A6024 Woodhead Road and A669 Chew Valley Road.

A6024: Road closed due to snow on A6024 Both ways between A635 Greenfield Road and A628. The Woodhead Pass is also closed due to snow.

A628: Road closed due to snow on A628 Whams Road Both ways between A57 Mottram Moor and A616 Whams Road. Snake Pass is also closed due to snow.

Ringinglow Road, Sheffield: Road closed due to snow on Ringinglow Road Both ways between Ringinglow Road and Common Lane. Reports of. Affecting traffic between Sheffield and Hathersage.

Birley Lane: Partially blocked and queueing traffic due to stalled truck on Birley Lane Both ways at A6135 Birley Moor Road. By the fire station.

A682: Road closed due to ice and snow on A682 Burnley Road Both ways between Limey Lane and Turton Hollow Road. Due to adverse weather conditions and earlier accidents, the A682 Manchester Road was closed by police.
