'Stolen' vehicle smashes into parked cars in Leeds

Police have said that a stolen vehicle crashed into two parked cars in Leeds last night.

West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit said that two occupants "ran off" after the collision on Monkswood Avenue and officers are enquiring.

Pictures released by officers show a damaged dark vehicle in the middle of the road and another veered on to grass.

The unit tweeted: "Monkswood Ave Leeds a stolen vehicle collided with 2 parked cars. The occupants ran off but we are on with enquiries to trace them."
