A charm shaped like a child’s doll was among items of suspected stolen jewellery recovered when police stopped a car in Leeds.

The distinctive items were recovered when officers stopped a vehicle in the Stanks area on March 16 and discovered large amounts of heroin, crack cocaine and amphetamine

Two men and a woman were arrested, West Yorkshire Police say.

A 21-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman were later charged with possession of drugs with intent to supply and a 44-year-old man was charged with possession of drugs.

PC Dave Lowry, of Leeds District Crime Team, said: “The circumstances in which these items of jewellery were found suggest they are likely to be stolen and we are keen to trace their rightful owners.”

Anyone who recognises the items is asked to contact PC 1219 Lowry at Elland Road via 101.
