Step forward

Body-popping, ballet, tap and hip-hop were among the dance styles showcased by around 130 athletic pupils in their end-of-year show.

Students aged 11 to 17, from Temple Moor High School Science College and Cockburn School, performed in two sell-out productions in front of around 600 people.

Their energetic display marked the culmination of a successful year when pupils from the Beeston school won the Global Rock Challenge and students at Temple Moor won the Leeds Schools Dance Competition.
