SINGING SENSATIONS and screen stars will descend on Leeds for a charity football tournament – and you could step on the pitch to meet them.

The Soccer Six event at Elland Road on Thursday, May 29, will see X Factor stars James Arthur, Rough Copy, Sam Callahan and Nicholas McDonald battle it out at the home of the Whites.

The YEP has teamed up with the celebrity six-a-side tournament to offer one lucky reader the chance to meet the stars of the show.

The competition winner will get two VIP tickets to the event as well as a shirt signed by the celebrity players, which will presented on the pitch by the stars themselves.

Speaking to the YEP, Sam Callahan said: “I’ve done Soccer Six before and it’s a really great event for the fans to come to.

“It’s probably the only time that you will see a football stadium full of teenage girls!

“I’ve been to Leeds before for the X Factor tour and a meet and greet.

“It’s a great place and the fans all seem keen and it is quite loud so we should get a good reception hopefully!”

Rough Copy are also looking forward to the event in Leeds.

Band member Joey James said: “I am definitely feeling confident about winning!

“We are going to try and have a little party in Leeds afterwards too!”

Other celebrities in the Soccer Six event include Ricky Rayment from The Only Way is Essex and comedian Jon Richardson.

Doors will open at 4pm, with the football matches kicking off an hour later.

The sporting action is scheduled to end at around 8pm, with VIP ticket holders then being treated to music performances from some of the chart stars booked for the event.

Money raised from the tournament will go to the Leeds United Foundation.
