Star-studded production of Oliver! set to light up Leeds Grand Theatre

Legendary musical Oliver! is set to leave audiences in Leeds wanting more over the festive season.

Leeds Grand Theatre will welcome stage and screen stars for the production, which opens next month.

The musical is 52 years old and premiered in the West End in 1960.

Leeds Grand Theatre is its only Yorkshire date and will see Neil Morrissey as Fagin, Samantha Barks as Nancy and Iain Fletcher as Bill Sikes.

Theatre General Manager Ian Sime said: “We’re very excited about Oliver! coming to Yorkshire. This is a classic production with a great cast; it’s a wonderful family show to have in the run up to the festivities!”

The award-winning Oliver! features Lionel Bart’s celebrated songs such as Food Glorious Food, Consider Yourself, You’ve Got to Pick-a-Pocket or Two and I’d Do Anything.

Oliver! is at Leeds Grand from Tuesday, November 6 to Saturday, December 8.
