FORMER Apprentice runner-up and Wakefield businesswoman Claire Young is urging people to nominate deserving youngsters for this year’s Yorkshire Children of Courage Awards.

The awards, which take place on October 16 at New Dock Hall, were set up by the Leeds-based St James’s Place Foundation celebrate the most courageous youngsters in the region, while raising money for good causes.

Miss Young said: “What the children go through is amazing, but it is also about celebrating the parents, families and carers who look after them.”
