Sprinkle of stardust in east Leeds

Pupils from the David Young Academy in Seacroft had a taste of the movie industry when they met the cast and crew of British film The Weekend. Actors and producers spoke to students about careers in the arts sector while also boosting their teamwork, self-esteem and confidence.

Director Sheridan de Myers embarked on a nationwide schools tour to promote diversity in film and inspire young people of all backgrounds to develop an interest in cinema.
