This little Spiderman was among dozens of youngsters who popped along to the opening of a new play spot in Drighlington.

Pub restaurant the Old Brickworks Brewers’ Fayre held a grand launch day for its new Beano-themed fun house.

Local families flocked to sample the fun. Visitors were greeted by life-sized versions of Dennis and Gnasher themselves. They also enjoyed a host of activities including face painting and crafts.

The area includes a new toddler zone and an adventure tree house for older children.

Tally Heer, general manager of The Old Brickworks, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming more families.”
