Plans to breathe new life into Holbeck viaduct could take a step forward in the new year.

Team leaders at the project, which is aiming to to turn the disused viaduct into a green walkway or arts venue, will begin a Pre-Feasability Study in February before plans are formalised.

The team, led entirely by volunteers, hope to have the study completed by the end of next year.

The viaduct is currently owned by Network Rail.
