Festival fever took over a south Leeds park with an arty twist this weekend.
Scores of local families descended on Cross Flatts Park to mark the 21st Beeston Festival.
The event, which encouraged visitors to get arty, marked the news that the British Art Show 8 will be heading to the city later this year.
Visitors were invited to create woollen cobwebs with members of the Pyramid of Arts project,
A selection of short films created by Beeston residents and Leeds Beckett University were on display with the help of the Basement Arts Project.
Meanwhile members of East Street Arts enlisted the help festival-goers to design a totem pole for the park.
The festival is organised by a team of dedicated volunteers to help bring together the local community.
