MOVIE fans were in a spin as a ‘Ghostbusters’ car pulled into Leeds.
A perfect replica of the iconic Ecto-1 wagon rolled into Trinity Leeds to celebrate the cinematic release of the new Ghostbusters movie.
The fully-functioning car is equipped with flashing lights and sirens – and can even blare out the famous movie theme tune.
Dan Wharton, marketing manager at Trinity Leeds, said: “Excitement has been building about the release for a while, so we decided to team up with Everyman and bring something extra special to town.”
Mr Wharton added: “We can guarantee there won’t be a ghost in sight!”
Shoppers and passersby were encouraged to pose for photos and take a seat behind the wheel, with many posting their snaps on social media.
On Twitter, @JenTrevorrow said: “The Ghostbusters are keeping Leeds ghoul free today.”
Twitter user @leechboo said: “Loved seeing the Ghostbusters car in Trinity #whoyougonnacall.”
The car is an original Cadillac Miller-Meteor which has been restored into a perfect replica of the Ecto-1 wagon.
