Sofa so good for Olympian Denise Lewis in Yorkshire

Olympic gold medallist Denise Lewis visited DFS employees in Yorkshire and put them through their paces in a version of their own DFS Games.

She visited the sofa manufacturer’s Northern Upholstery factory in Birstall and head office in Doncaster.

Staff members from DFS Head Office were split into teams representing each of the company’s departments to take on a series of Olympic-style events at Keepmoat Stadium in Doncaster.

Denise said: “It has been great to get involved with DFS’s support for Team GB, especially the DFS Games, which were so much fun to judge and absolutely hilarious to watch.”

DFS chief executive officer CEO Ian Filby said: “Denise was a brilliant addition to the team, she’s certainly got us all fired up for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.”
