Have your say

A picture can say a thousand words - so snap a selfie of you and your mum to show how much you care.

Send us your special picture and you could be in with a chance of winning a family day out in our great Mother’s Day competition.

We will be awarding the winning entry their very own family ticket to the gardens at Newby Hall, near Ripon, to the best picture.

The ticket, for two adults and three children, can be used any day of the season which starts on April 1.

Kate Bankier of Newby Hall and Gardens said: “Newby is the perfect place to bring Mum for a special day out.

“Our gardens are so vast and varied, with a spot to suit every taste.”

If you prefer to tell us why you think your mum is one in a million, then enter our other competition to make March 15 a day to remember

Tell us in no more than 200 words why your mum is marvellous.

The marvellous mother’s competition could scoop a meal for four at the Handmade Burger Co in the White Rose Shopping Centre, in Leeds.
