Slideshow: Wild West camp for young Morley and South Leeds explorers

Dozens of young explorers took part in a range of activities at a Wild West-themed camp in Morley.

More than 100 Beaver Scouts from Morley and South Leeds visited the Pheonix Scout Campsite in the town on September 26 and 27.

The youngsters, aged between six and eight, took part in archery, climbing crafts and a zip-wire at the event.

They also spent the night in a tent at the camp.

Camp organiser Adele Blackburn said: “Thanks to the many volunteers the children had a fun and safe weekend.

“The leaders are already thinking of ideas for next years event.”
