Top restaurants all over Yorkshire are celebrating after being judged winners in the prestigious Yorkshire Evening Post Oliver Awards 2010.
The awards, now in their second year, celebrate the very best of the county's dining scene.

Hundreds of guests gathered at the Hilton Hotel in Leeds for the meal and awards ceremony which was hosted by television presenter Jon Hammond.

They saw restaurant Martha & Vincent crowned Best Overall Winner and
popular restaurateur George Psarias and his wife Vasoulla take the award for Outstanding Contribution to the Restaurant Industry.

Martha & Vincent has established a reputation as offering the best in food and service and attracts diners from all over the region to Ilkley.

Head chef Tom Eunson offers consistently high quality British cuisine using seasonal produce in an atmosphere that is both relaxed and stylish.

Mr Psarias and his wife won their award in recognition of their many successful years in the restaurant business. The Greek-Cypriot couple moved to Leeds 35 years ago and immediately set about creating a successful and high quality venue.
They run the renowned Greek restaurant The Olive Tree in Rodley, which opened in 1982, and have also opened two sister restaurants in Headingley and in Chapel Allerton.
Mr Psarias, a self-taught chef who credits his mother-in-law as his biggest influence and mentor, said: "There are many important elements in running a successful restaurant, but the most important, above all else, is passion for what you are doing."
YEP editor Paul Napier said: "We have an abundance of great places to eat in this part of the world. The Oliver Awards are a wonderful opportunity to recognise all the hard work which goes into making dining out such a pleasure."
There were 17 award winners, reflecting the diverse range of the regions's dining scene and the talented staff in the industry.
