A student from Leeds has put herself well and truly in the frame for local fame by starring in an advertising campaign for her college.
Selame Negussie, 20, from Roundhay, has been picked as one of the faces of Bradford College.
She will now feature in ads that will appear on buses and billboards and in newspapers across West Yorkshire this summer.
Science student Selame said today: “It will be brilliant seeing myself and my friends on posters around the city.
“I am glad they are using people who study here. We are real people with real stories.”
Selame, whose family runs the Melkam Megeb Ethiopian restaurant on Roundhay Road, added: “Bradford College has been good for me so I am happy to help them attract more students.”
The campaign pictures were taken by Harrogate-based photographer Matthew Lloyd.
Matthew, who has photographed stars such as Helen Mirren and Benedict Cumberbatch, said: “The students were good to work with, natural in front of the camera and proud to be taking part.”
