Sax star Trish to perform in Leeds
A rising young sax star who is setting the jazz world alight is to perform in Leeds later this week.
Jazz saxophonist Trish Clowes, an award-winning BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist, is playing at Seven Arts in Chapel Allerton at 8pm on Thursday, January 18.
Trish and her band My Iris released their self-titled debut album to critical acclaim last year and are on a UK tour. The band features Ross Stanley on piano and Hammond organ, Chris Montague on guitar and James Maddren on drums. The support group on Thursday will be led by young sax player Jasmine Whalley and her quintet.
