Santa’s little helpers put Christmas toys to the test

Children will become Santa’s little helpers next week as they are given the chance to trial the season’s top Christmas toys.

Youngsters can put the toys through their paces at a special testing event in the White Rose Shopping Centre.

Joined by Santa’s toy scientists and the centre’s official young toy tester, six-year-old Mason from Bramley, the children will have free rein to play with - and test - the latest products from retailers including The Disney Stores, Argos, Debenhams, Build-a-Bear and The Entertainer.

Nikki Appleton, marketing manager at White Rose said: “When it comes to toys, we’ve got lots of retailers who are experts and really know their stuff when it comes to what will be best sellers.

“But nothing can compare to giving kids a hands-on experience with this year’s must-have toys, as they enjoy the toys more than adults, and can properly put them through their paces.”

The event will give children the chance to get a first sneak-peek look at the toys expected by retailers to top Christmas wish-lists.

It takes place in the central atrium from 9am until 6pm on Friday, October 30.
