Road closures: New anti-Donald Trump rally set to close Leeds city centre roads

This notice has been issued by Leeds Council:

"There will be a procession in Leeds city centre on Saturday 4th February 2017.

"This will form up on Victoria Gardens on the Headrow from 12 noon.

"The procession will start at 12.30pm and last for approximately 1 hour, returning to Victoria Gardens.

"The procession route will be as follows:

• Start on Victoria Gardens

• The Headrow,

• South on Park Row

• Left (East) on Boar Lane,

• Continue (East) on Duncan Street,

• Left (North) on New Market Street

• Ahead on Vicar Lane,

• Left (West) on King Edward Street

• Right (North) on Briggate ( but will avoid the event space on Briggate)

• Left (West) on The Headrow

• Return to Victoria Gardens.

"West Yorkshire Police will facilitate rolling road closures as necessary, along the route.

"There may be some traffic congestion in the vicinity."
